Before You Begin: Always on top
First, a useful tool for the Presenter! As you work with Lync, you may find yourself hunting for the Conversation window.

Consider this: Keep the Conversation On Top
Go to Lync->Online Meeting->More.
Click on Always on Top.
That should do it.
